Learning for the future: Competences in Education for Sustainable Development

United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Steering Committee on Education for Sustainable Development (UNECE) published Learning for the future: Competences in Education for Sustainable Development.

This document makes recommendation to policy makers on professional development across all sectors: for teachers/educators, managers and leaders; governing and managing institutions; curriculum development and monitoring and assessment. It also identifies a framework of core competencies in ESD for educators.
